I got my hard drive so obviously i had to set it up and start up time machine. The initial backup took a while as expected. I then created a file, forced a backup, deleted the file and hit time machine just to make sure it works and obviously enough it did. Im sick of losing my work so this will come in nice and handy.

Not used Time Machine as I only have Leopard on my 2 laptops, (it won't install on my little old G3 iMac) and Apple pulled wireless network backing up at the last minute. However, with the release of 'Time Capsule' I may be tempted (1 whole TB of Apple goodness..mmmm) or may use my existing Lacie HD if the upcoming 10.5.2 offers network disk use. I do want to use Time Machine tho, looks very cool and seamless. My current backup solution is mostly manual when I remember, so a background solution would be ideal.
